Project Manager: Manchester (with 15% UK & European travel) • Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum • Industry: Facilities Management / Building Services • Sector: Retail Environment

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage BMS-related projects, ensuring delivery within agreed timescales, budgets, and quality standards.
• Oversee the full project lifecycle, from design, planning, and coordination through to completion and handover.
• Apply technical expertise in BMS (Niagara framework) to ensure successful integration, optimisation, and performance.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to maintain strong working relationships and achieve project objectives.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to ensure system reliability and compliance with industry standards.
• Conduct site visits in the UK and occasionally across Europe to oversee project progress and resolve technical challenges.
• Monitor project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Skills & Experience

• Degree/HND in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Proven track record in Project Management within building services/FM environments.
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with BMS systems, specifically Niagara.
• Strong understanding of electrical and control systems.
• Excellent organisational, planning, and leadership skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Ability to travel across the UK and Europe when required (~15%).
