TheSkills and Employment Development Servicehas an exciting position available. We have a full-time opportunity to join the team as aProject Officer.The role will manage a caseload of subcontracted training providers acrossGreater Lincolnshirewho deliver on LCC’sAdult Skills Fund. This role will primarily deliver the Skills Bootcamps programme.

About the role

This role plays an integral part in managing our network of training providers. You willsupportthe planning, commissioning and performance monitoring of Skills Bootcamps training courses.You will need a full driving licence and access to a vehicle as the team travels across Greater Lincolnshire regularly.

Skills Bootcamps are free training courses that fill specific skills gaps.The courses are designed to help people to get jobs and help local businesses to recruit new talent.

Hybrid working is a feature of this role. The successful applicant will be required to attend the office alongside the rest of the team at least once a week. On occasion, additional days may be required.The team frequently travels across Greater Lincolnshire to visit training providers and employers.The Council offers flexibility within working patterns to accommodate work-life balance.
