This is an exciting time to join the team within eCommerce - the fastest growing part of Asda’s retail business. In order to harness and leverage the growth we are experiencing, the core objective is to create a customer proposition that maximises both service and profitability.

The Equipment Coordinator will report to the Online Grocery Equipment Manager and will be responsible for translating our equipment strategy aims into deliverable tasks as part of various project workstreams, resulting in improved service to our store teams.

You will be accountable for generating ideas, analysing data, managing supplier relationships and delivering improvements to our model within an agreed timeframe. All task and workstreams must be developed with a customer mind-set, right for our colleagues, considering everyday low cost (EDLC) and an innovative approach.

Key Responsibilities

•Working within the online grocery equipment space you will support across a range of different key equipment items and support inventory management and timely delivery to store.

•Build and manage a backlog of improvement ideas and trial activities

•Manage multiple workstreams and balance your workload to meet the needs of the business

•Work collaboratively with multiple teams to review how we do things, ensure solutions are identified and projects landed on time.

•This role will require 3 days in our Leeds Home office and flexibility to visit stores if required, which may require some overnight stays.

•Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities

•Strong understanding of in-store ecommerce operations,

•Strong written and verbal communication skills

•Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, with the ability to interpret and present relevant data to highlight opportunities in the Collection space.

•Excellent stakeholder management with the ability to engage across all levels.

•Evidence in developing and delivering step change improvements

•Commercial awareness and the ability to make sound financial decisions

•Awareness of innovative solutions within the market

•Flexible and agile approach to projects
