Overview

An opportunity has arisen for a Project Support Officer to join the National Elective Coordination Unit (NECU) within the Centre for Sustainable Delivery.

NECU is an exciting programme developed by the National Centre for Sustainable Delivery (CFSD) and hosted by NHS Golden Jubilee that supports the national coordination of planned care capacity across NHS Scotland. NECU further supports the matching of overspill capacity within clinical services to demand across NHS Scotland, collaboratively working with NHS Scotland Health Boards to support additional capacity within clinical services.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the NECU Business Support Manager, provide operational service support to the National Elective Coordination Unit and contribute to the implementation of strategy, ensuring opportunities for continuous development and improvement of services are appropriately considered and pursued to facilitate the delivery of a range of clinical and non-clinical services.
  • Work primarily based with NHS Golden Jubilee, with hybrid working, and may involve some planned travel across Scotland.
