Overview

Are you a qualified GI actuary, looking for a highly flexible role, where you will be involved in a wide range of key projects, from climate change to pricing?

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading specialty insurer where you will use your actuarial expertise to support improvements in actuarial processes, documentation, data transformation and regulatory initiatives, all with a view to enhancing strategic delivery. You will also act as a key subject matter expert on climate risk, driving the ongoing research into and implementation of regulatory developments and actions.

Responsibilities

  • Support improvements in actuarial processes, documentation, data transformation and regulatory initiatives to enhance strategic delivery.
  • Act as a key subject matter expert on climate risk, driving ongoing research into and implementation of regulatory developments and actions.
  • Represent actuarial insights within project environments across Pricing, Reserving or Actuarial Data Management.
  • Demonstrate strong project management, problem-solving and influencing skills.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Pricing, Reserving or Actuarial Data Management.
  • Qualified GI actuary; applicants from non-actuaries, qualified by experience, will be welcomed.
  • Strong project management and teamwork abilities with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in a flexible, high-visibility role with autonomous working arrangements.
