Responsibilities

• Work alongside analysts to maintain projects and develop new ones
• Monitor systems and promptly resolve any issues
• Review and improve stability of existing and future projects
• Identify new opportunities and areas of growth based on new technology and business needs
• Produce production level code with appropriate testing, redundancies and error handling
• Utilise the latest technologies in the AI/ML space to build cutting edge tools

Experience

• Demonstrable experience of professional Python skills
• At least one web framework – Flask, FastAPI, Django, etc
• Data manipulation with Pandas / numpy
• Database design and best practices
• Proven experience taking a greenfield project through a full development lifecycle

Skills

• Organised and thoughtful approach to your projects
• Able to manage your own time effectively to meet deadlines
• Strong coding skills and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Confidence to take ownership of your projects
• Must be comfortable on MacOS and Linux (Ubuntu VMs)
• Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work through issues independently
• Hybrid working model (3 days in the office)
