Quality Assurance Manager

Watford (Hybrid – 1 day a week at Head Office)

We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading construction business for a Quality Assurance Manager to set up and drive the company’s quality strategy. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of quality culture across the business, while developing and mentoring a growing team.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead and embed the company-wide quality strategy and culture
  • Manage divisional quality procedures, ensuring standards are met across all projects
  • Support and mentor Quality Managers, helping shape their learning and career development
  • Develop and deliver quality training for operational teams
  • Oversee the quality audit programme, ensuring compliance across the business
  • Act as interim Quality Manager during mobilisation of new projects when required
  • Investigate major quality issues and implement improvements
  • Build lasting relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
  • Represent the company on best practice forums and provide input to bids at pre-construction stage

What we’re looking for

  • Strong experience leading quality strategy within a construction environment
  • Knowledge of auditing, compliance, and embedding best practice
  • Skilled in mentoring, training, and developing teams
  • Working towards or holding Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) status (advantageous)
