We’re looking for a proactive and people-focused Quality & Environmental Manager to join a growing and ambitious construction team delivering projects across the UK. Based in London, you’ll be at the heart of driving operational excellence and sustainability, while supporting teams across multiple sites.

This is more than just a compliance role — we’re seeking someone who thrives on collaboration, knows how to embed meaningful change, and has a passion for ensuring the highest standards.

Duties

Champion and evolve the company’s Quality & Environmental Management System, ensuring it’s not just maintained but continuously improved

Act as a key point of contact for quality and environmental matters across both office and site teams

Lead and develop KPIs, policies and processes in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and the company’s wider Integrated Management System

Become a Procore Super User – training colleagues, embedding the system across the business, and driving consistency in its use

Conduct regular internal audits and site inspections, ensuring consistent application of quality and environmental standards

Support and liaise with external auditors for ISO certification maintenance and upgrades

Build strong relationships across all departments to embed a culture of continuous improvement

Coordinate closely with Health & Safety to ensure integration with ISO 45001 standards

Monitor non-conformances, closeout actions, and identify opportunities for improvement

Develop, roll out, and train teams on key environmental and quality templates and best practices

Contribute to tenders and pre-qualifications by providing input on environmental and quality procedures, KPIs, and credentials

Candidate profile

A degree in Construction Engineering, Environmental Management, or related field

Proven experience supporting quality and/or environmental systems on construction projects, preferably with a main contractor

Familiarity with Procore or other construction management platforms (training will be provided)

Solid knowledge of relevant standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001)

Confident communicator who enjoys working with diverse teams and developing others

Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset — you know when to get stuck in and when to step back

Organised, adaptable, and proactive — you take initiative and enjoy variety in your work

Passionate about building responsibly, with a strong grasp of sustainability and waste management principles

Company car allowance or travel expense package

Hybrid working options (office/site/home)

Support for continued professional development, including training and chartership

A collaborative and supportive working culture, with opportunities to grow and make your mark

You’ll be joining a close-knit, forward-thinking construction team where your ideas and input truly matter.
