About the Role:
Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for infrastructure and long-term asset performance? If you're looking for a role that offers autonomy, impact, and the chance to shape the future of energy, this Project Manager opportunity could be the perfect fit.
As a Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering a major project focused on the life extension of compressors at our St Fergus site. This work is critical to securing the terminal’s operational future, ensuring continued reliability and efficiency across the UK’s National Transmission System.
This is a remote-based role, however, the successful candidate will be required to be on-site at St Fergus several times a month, with increased presence during peak project periods. This balance supports flexibility while ensuring strong engagement with site teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of the compressor life extension project at St Fergus.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery.
- Collaborate with engineering, commercial, and operational teams to align on scope and outcomes.
- Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in asset management and project delivery.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in project management within infrastructure, energy, or engineering sectors.
- Strong understanding of asset lifecycle planning and long-term infrastructure strategies.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage complex projects with multiple workstreams.
- Familiarity with compressor systems and gas transmission infrastructure is a plus.
- A full UK driving license.
- Willingness to travel regularly to St Fergus, with increased frequency during key project phases.

Location: Remote-based, with regular travel to St Fergus (Aberdeen area) several times a month, increasing during peak project periods.
