Regional Account Manager
The Role: This brand-new growth role will see you selling a range of locks & security products from this well regarded German manufacturer across the South of the UK by building trusted partnerships with builders merchants, retailers, and garden centre outlets with a view to them becoming stockists of your range. This market expansion will then create ample opportunity for your stands and shelves to be stocked by your go-to Wholesaler partner in the UK who you’ll be working extremely closely with.
This role will see you spending around 25% of your time working with the Wholesaler and their sales teams across the South. There are five branch teams you’ll be supporting, going on joint visits, helping them sell your products to your retail & merchant base, and presenting new products & strategies to them on a monthly basis.
The other 75% of your time will be managing existing retail outlets and building relationships with new ones across the region. This would primarily be done through driving sales of table-top displays or full merchandising stands into their branch network. These would then be filled by your Wholesaler who would ultimately be making orders from you off the back of that activity. This role will therefore require a commercial awareness to work with margins, rebates, and incentivising sales teams of your Wholesaler partner to help drive your numbers.

We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
- Have at least one year’s B2B field sales experience
- Has route planning, account segmentation, and new business skill sets
- Understands selling through distribution
- Someone who is up for the challenge, able to spend a night away per week, and build business
- Looking to join a business who are building a brand in the UK
- Full & Clean Driving license
Salary: Up to £42,000 basic salary DOE + 20% annual bonus + Hybrid Car + 8% Pension + healthcare cash-plan available + 25 days holiday (rises to 28 after 12 months service)
