About This Opportunity
We\'re looking for a passionate and driven Relationship Director to join our high-performing SME Commercial team. If you thrive on building relationships, spotting opportunities, and making a real impact, this could be your next big move.
You\'ll manage a defined portfolio of SME client relationships, typically businesses turning over between £10m–£25m. You\’ll be the face of Lloyds to existing and new clients, building trust, delivering value, and driving growth through tailored financial solutions.
You\’ll also be a key part of our market presence, helping local clients, developing key business opportunities, and representing the Group with senior stakeholders across the professional community.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing excellent service to our clients, putting them at the heart of what you do, adding value at every interaction and becoming a “trusted advisor”.
- Promoting the bank with professionals and key influencers through your knowledge of the local market.
- Building relationships with Group Partner companies and through them bring the whole bank to the client delivering products to meet their needs.
- Demonstrating strong credit analysis and risk management capabilities, ensuring robust oversight of your client portfolio and adherence to compliance standards.
- Actively representing the bank in the local professional community, building trusted relationships with key influencers, attending regional events, and promoting our brand through ethical leadership.
- Bringing a high-growth mindset and a proactive approach to adopting digital tools that enhance client experience and demonstrate the value of face-to-face relationship management.
What You\'ll Need
- A track record of supporting sustainable business growth and delivering results.
- High proficiency in building and maintaining productive relationships with external professionals and adept at winning good volumes of higher value new client relationships.
- Specialist sector and credit knowledge, using digital tools to deliver excellent client experiences and identifying ways to grow income, balance sheet and market share.
- A growth mindset and enthusiasm for tools that enhance client engagement.
- A strong ethical approach and commitment to promoting the bank’s image across a range of clients, prospects & professionals.
