About This Opportunity
We’re looking for a multifaceted and data-driven Reporting & Analytics Manager to join the Resolving Economic Crime (REC) Lab. This role is based in Leeds and plays a pivotal part in redefining how we use data to detect, understand, and prevent financial crime.
You’ll ensure our reporting not only meets current needs but also anticipates future challenges. Your work will help enable reporting to be proactive, enabling deeper exploration of fraud journeys and operational performance.
What will I be doing?
- Lead the design and delivery of MI and analytics solutions that support lab-wide decision-making and experimentation.
- Collaborate with product owners, lab leads, and operational teams to understand reporting needs and translate them into scalable, automated solutions.
- Drive improvements in data quality, reporting automation, and visualisation
- Support the lab’s front-door process for analytics requests, ensuring prioritisation and alignment with strategic goals.
- Mentor analysts and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and data literacy.
From building a truly sustainable business to creating a place where people love to work, we need colleagues who are up for the challenge of our bold ambitions. Who are excited to push boundaries and make change happen. Together, we can grow with purpose.
What You’ll Need
- A strong background in business intelligence, data visualisation, and analytics delivery.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python or R, and data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Looker.
- Experience working in agile environments and multi-functional teams.
- Ability to translate sophisticated data into clear, actionable insights for diverse collaborators.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and experience with web and app analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, GA4) and PEGA.
- Data Storytelling - Proven track record to communicate sophisticated data concepts to all types and levels of colleagues in compelling and relatable manner. This includes visual storytelling and plain English communication, tailored to meet the needs and interest of the audience. Ability to think creatively and challenge direction.
- Familiarity with fraud, financial crime, or operational risk data is desirable.
We want our people to feel that they belong and can be their best, regardless of background, identity or culture.
We were one of the first major organisations to set goals on diversity in senior roles, create a menopause health package, and a dedicated Working with Cancer initiative.
And it’s why we especially welcome applications from underrepresented groups.
We’re disability confident. So if you’d like reasonable adjustments to be made to our recruitment processes, just let us know
We also offer a wide ranging benefits package, which includes:
- A generous pension contribution of up to 15%
- An annual performance related bonus
- Share schemes including free shares
- Benefits you can adapt to your lifestyle, such as discounted shopping
- 30 days’ holiday, with bank holidays on top
- A range of wellbeing initiatives and generous parental leave policies
