Main duties of the job

  • Empower and lead a high-performing Resourcing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and continuous development.
  • Deliver impactful, end-to-end recruitment campaigns, including senior and national-level roles, ensuring excellence, compliance, and candidate experience.
  • Design bold, evidence-based attraction strategies, tailored to hard-to-fill roles and aligned with NICE’s values and workforce priorities.
  • Champion inclusive and values-led recruitment, driving improvements in equality, diversity, and inclusion across all resourcing activity.
  • Provide expert guidance to hiring managers, building capability and confidence through strategic advice, toolkits, and training.
  • Lead the job evaluation process, ensuring fairness, transparency, and alignment with Agenda for Change principles and organisational structures.
  • Deputise for the Head of Resourcing & Intelligence, representing the function internally and externally with credibility and influence.
  • Streamline and modernise resourcing operations, identifying and implementing process improvements that enhance efficiency and user experience.
  • Manage key contracts and relationships, including TRAC and interim recruitment providers, working closely with Procurement and Finance.
  • Collaborate across the People Team, ensuring joined-up service delivery and contributing to wider HR projects and strategic workforce initiatives.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

As Resourcing Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering innovative, inclusive, and high-impact resourcing solutions that enable NICE to attract, develop, and retain exceptional talent.

What we’re looking for:

  • Educated to HR/business degree level (or equivalent) with CIPD Level 7 qualification and a strong track record of professional development.
  • Extensive experience leading senior and national recruitment campaigns, with a proven ability to design and deliver innovative attraction strategies that secure exceptional talent in complex and competitive markets.
  • Expert knowledge of employment law, NHS terms and conditions, and job evaluation principles (Agenda for Change).
  • Proven leadership skills, with experience managing, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical and digital capability, using data, insights, and systems (e.g. TRAC) to shape recruitment strategies and improve service delivery.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement, with the ability to influence, build trust, and deliver pragmatic, user-focused solutions.
  • Resilient and adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced environment and managing competing priorities with clarity and confidence.
  • Values-led and inclusive, with a deep commitment to equity, diversity, and continuous improvement in everything you do.

Person specification

Education/Qualifications

  • CIPD Level 7 or equivalent
  • Degree level education or equivalent demonstrable experience in a similar role

Experience

  • Experience of working with managers in the use and interpretation of policies, terms and conditions and wide range of People/HR activity
  • Experience of managing people
  • Experience in designing, reviewing, and adapting end-to-end process maps or pathways across a broad range of HR and people-related services

Skills/Knowledge

  • Broad and comprehensive generalist HR knowledge base
  • Excellent customer service skills and a strong customer service and solution-based focus

Other

  • Able to support, guide, reassure, and coach managers on range of general people queries
