We’re seeking a risk-focused leader to create pragmatic standards, policies and frameworks for third‑party provider oversight and assurance. What you’ll be doing

  • Develop and implement an effective medical and clinical third‑party assurance model aligned with the AXA Group Outsourcing and Third‑Party Risk Policy (GORP).
  • Design and continuously improve management information and reporting to provide the Executive Committee with actionable insight into third‑party provider risk.

  • Advance the enterprise‑wide third‑party provider management approach by improving procedures, monitoring, reporting and governance to establish best‑in‑class assurance protocols and testing programmes.
  • Lead engagement with Committees and Working Groups and advise on best practice third‑party provider processes, controls and documentation.
  • Oversee and analyse medical and clinical third‑party provider issues and incidents, perform root cause analysis for systemic issues, and review trends in key risk indicators (KRI) and incident themes.
  • Develop the skills of the 1st line Enterprise Risk team and foster strong stakeholder relationships across the business to ensure consistent understanding of third‑party risk, control and conduct matters.

Note: This role is subject to eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.

What you’ll bring

  • Demonstrable expertise in third‑party provider risk and control oversight, assurance or supervision, including managing third‑party assurance audits, ideally in the medical and clinical provider space.
  • Experience in creating risk‑based, pragmatic standards, policies and frameworks for third‑party oversight and assurance.
  • Understanding of relevant insurance/healthcare regulation and supervisory expectations for large complex financial institutions and/or clinical providers; ability to translate this into business requirements.
  • Proven stakeholder management and influencing skills up to executive level; ability to engage business teams on the value of assurance activity and to gain buy‑in for proposed solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to create key reporting.
  • Commercial and pragmatic outlook; ability to work at pace, prioritise, and handle complexity and ambiguity to stay delivery‑focussed.
  • Proactive and innovative with a focus on continuous improvement and new ways of working.
