RNLD Clinical Lead

Location: field based with travel across the Midlands/North of England dependent on where you are based.
We're looking for a Learning Disability Nurse to join us as a Clinical Lead! In this role you'll be responsible for a caseload of packages within our Learning Disability, Autism, and Mental Health service.
You will assess, plan, implement, and review services, making sure that care plans, risk assessments, and protocols are in place and regularly updated. You will also play a key role in training, coaching, and developing staff teams to promote consistency, structure, and a strong commitment to our clients and their families. Working closely with families, as well as our operations, recruitment, and compliance teams, you will help safeguard both clients and staff, enabling those we support to live fulfilling and rewarding lives.
Main duties of the job
Everyday you will...
- Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines, conducting audits, and participating in clinical governance meetings.
- Undertake initial holistic nursing assessments in partnership with the client, family, and carer.
- Develop individualised care plans in partnership with the client, their family, and other healthcare professionals, reviewing and updating them in line with policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Identify and manage risks as part of care provision, producing positive risk-taking, risk-management plans, and implementing safety precautions.
- Deliver client-specific clinical training for staff and delegate tasks via the Nursing Upskill and Competency Framework Process.
- Mentor and supervise workers, providing feedback, conducting performance reviews, and supporting professional development.

Person Specification
Experience
- Experience working with people who present challenging behaviours.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to organise your own workload.
- Community experience.
Additional requirements
- Have a driver's license with access to a vehicle.
Qualifications
- A Learning Disability Nursing degree with an active NMC pin.

Salary: £49,000 to £53,000 per year + £3,000 car allowance.
