Sales Director – Cybersecurity (Hybrid - Lincolnshire, UK)

Are you a proven sales leader ready to take a growing cybersecurity business to the next level?

This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-scaling, private-equity-backed organisation delivering trusted, intelligence-led cyber resilience solutions to critical sectors such as education, logistics, pharmaceuticals, and defence.

The Opportunity

As Sales Director, you will be at the forefront of driving commercial growth—transitioning the business from founder-led selling to a structured, scalable, and high-performing sales function. This role requires a leader who can set strategy while also being hands-on in the field, closing deals, and building momentum in the market.

You will report directly to the board and play a pivotal role in shaping the sales culture, building a high-calibre team, and creating scalable processes that underpin long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and own the go-to-market strategy and sales plan
  • Lead by example—personally sourcing, pursuing, and converting new business opportunities
  • Build and structure a high-performing sales team over time
  • Establish scalable sales processes, KPIs, and reporting frameworks
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations to align solutions with market demand
  • Represent the business credibly with senior stakeholders in high-trust, regulated sectors

Candidate Profile

We’re looking for a commercially strategic, hands-on sales leader with:

  • A proven track record of building and leading sales organisations, ideally in cybersecurity, cloud, or adjacent technology sectors
  • An extensive client and LinkedIn network to accelerate business development
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to influence at board and client level
  • High emotional intelligence, resilience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • A growth mindset, able to bring structure, discipline, and repeatable processes to sales functions

What’s on Offer

  • Performance-related bonus
  • Equity participation (options)
  • Executive benefits (car allowance, pension, healthcare)
  • Lincolnshire-based role - Hybrid
