Sales Director Laboratory Equipment

Location: Aylesbury | Hybrid working + international travel
Contract: Permanent | Full-time | 37 hours per week (Mon-Fri)
Salary: Up to £90,000 basic + superb package (including 10% pension contribution, bonus, car allowance & more)

An exciting opportunity to join a leading global environmental and scientific company as a Sales Director. This senior-level role will shape international sales strategy, drive business growth, and contribute to delivering innovative solutions that support a more sustainable future. You will lead a high-performing global sales team, strengthen strategic partnerships, and influence product development within a forward-thinking and ambitious organisation.

What you’ll be doing

  • Designing and delivering ambitious commercial strategies
  • Driving new business growth and customer acquisition worldwide
  • Leading global key account and channel partner management
  • Working closely with Marketing & R&D to align sales with innovation
  • Guiding product development strategy
  • Tracking performance against KPIs and ensuring commercial success
  • Building, mentoring, and inspiring a high-performing global sales team

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience leading sales in scientific or laboratory equipment markets
  • A strong track record of growing revenue across global territories
  • Experience managing international accounts and channel partners
  • Solid understanding of laboratory operations and instrumentation
  • Strong commercial acumen with expertise in forecasting and budgeting

Desirable

  • Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related science
  • Advanced qualifications in Business, Engineering, or related fields
