The Role As Sales Executive, you'll take ownership of driving new business and managing the full sales cycle – from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and nurturing lasting client relationships. Identify and develop new business opportunities across the UK. Manage the end‑to‑end sales process – from initial contact to contract. Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline aligned with company growth goals. Collaborate with internal teams (estimating, production, project management) to ensure smooth project delivery. Understand client requirements and translate them into effective fabrication solutions. Represent the business at client meetings, trade shows, and industry events. Report regularly on performance, market trends, and competitor activity.

What We're Looking For

Proven B2B sales experience, ideally in steel fabrication, metalwork, or a related engineering/manufacturing environment. Solid knowledge of engineering, construction, or manufacturing sectors. Strong new business development track record – you know how to prospect, network, and win. Technically minded with the ability to understand fabrication processes and communicate them clearly. Self‑motivated, proactive, and highly organised, with the ability to work independently. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide.
