Responsibilities

  • As Sales & Marketing Manager you will build and execute trade driving plans and initiatives that drive lead sales and customer engagement. You will engage with key national accounts to gain buy in.
  • The Sales & Marketing Manager will define and implement the end to end strategy and plan including brand communications and plans.
  • In the role the Sales & Marketing Manager will lead the promotional trade driving strategy across all metrics including meal deals, multi buys, charity partnerships, etc. ensuring value and quality messages are reinforced.
  • The Sales & Marketing will define and implement the style, tone and content for brand messaging working closely with the brand team
  • This Sales & Marketing role is ideal for an individual who is working either for a grocery retailer or FMCG supplier within category, trade or customer planning/management. You could be working as an account executive
  • It is essential to have demonstrable experience of promotional end-to-end process management and be able to evidence commercial impact.
  • Ideally you will have had budget responsibility for events
  • In the role the Sales & Marketing Manager will be working with buying, marketing and finance teams, ideally you will have experience of this and will have a proven track record at working cross functionally to deliver a strategy
  • In the role you will be customer facing therefore skills of engagement, relationship building along with presenting skills are key
  • It is crucial to have fantastic communication and influencing skills along with reporting and attention to detail.
  • In addition, you will demonstrate a passion for the customer and a flair for collaborative working

Qualifications

  • Experience in promotional end-to-end process management with evidence of commercial impact
  • Experience in a grocery retailer or FMCG supplier role within category, trade or customer planning/management
  • Budget responsibility for events (preferred)
  • Cross-functional collaboration with buying, marketing and finance teams
  • Excellent communication, influencing, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Customer-focused mindset with collaborative working style
