You’ll be
Leading and developing a high-performing team: Your primary responsibility will be managing and coaching a team of Account Executives, conducting rigorous pipeline reviews, providing strategic deal coaching, and offering hands-on support to help them achieve and exceed their targets.
Driving team performance and forecasting: Taking full ownership of your team's sales forecast and revenue goals, ensuring predictable success through disciplined pipeline management and process adherence.
Building the sales engine: Collaborating with the Head of GTM to develop and refine sales playbooks, improve our sales process, and contribute to the overall go-to-market strategy.
Cultivating top talent: Fostering a culture of high performance, continuous learning, and success within the sales team, acting as a dedicated mentor and coach to grow the next generation of sales talent at Beam.
You are
A Strategic Seller at heart: While you won't carry a quota, you have deep expertise in successfully selling complex SaaS products using a structured methodology like MEDDPICC. You know what excellence looks like and can coach it effectively.
A Consistent High-Performer: You have a strong and demonstrable history of hitting or exceeding your sales quota over multiple years as an individual contributor and have successfully transitioned that skillset into becoming an excellent leader.
An Inspiring and Dedicated Coach: You have 2-3 years of experience in people leadership. Your primary motivation comes from developing others and seeing your team succeed, not just your own individual performance. You excel at providing actionable, supportive coaching.
Data-Driven and Analytical: You are comfortable with digging into the weeds of data. You instinctively dive into CRM reports and spreadsheets to diagnose pipeline health, identify performance trends, and make informed strategic decisions.
Bonus points for
Experience selling into regulated or public sector industries.
A history as a former founder or other evidence of a strong entrepreneurial drive.
Experience working in a fast-paced Seed to Series C startup environment.
