Overview
We’re looking for a strong Account Manager / Senior Account Manager who has experience working with global brands across the creative & influencer spectrum. We need someone who can hit the ground running and take clear ownership of projects on arrival. The role is a hybrid client services & project manager role and while creatively driven, will be focused on talent and partnership based projects.
Responsibilities
- With the support of an Account Director, the AM / SAM will be the day to day owner on a variety of talent based projects & BAU activity in the studio.
- Projects will be a mix of short and long duration, at different stages and will be worked through predefined processes and tools.
- We’ll expect first class account, client and project handling outwardly in liaison with our clients, and inwardly on a day to day project level with the team.
Account Management
- Building a “partner” like relationship with our clients.
- Being the “go to” day to day person across your projects.
- Demonstrating a keen interest in our clients business and really understanding their brand.
- Becoming a brand guardian and being the voice of the client across projects.
- Responding to client requests and comms in a timely fashion.
- Work collaboratively and proactively to solve client problems.
- Defining client meetings, their purpose & agendas + leading the team to complete their prep as planned.
- Producing client presentations where required.
- Leading weekly project status management & reporting – internal & external.
- Being the on‑ground client liaison during a shoot / event.
Project Owner
- Lead on projects throughout the full project lifecycle from Kick‑Off through to Delivery.
- Day to day driver of the project – ensuring your project team is working as scheduled and the project is tracking as planned.
- Production of weekly project status documentation in liaison with the team.
- Day to day management and maintenance of up to date project timing plans (in liaison with production team on production led projects).
- Weekly responsibility for updating resourcing requirements & bookings across your projects.
- Management of overarching project budget liaising with the production team where needed ensuring it is tracking as scoped.
- Production of regular burn reports across your projects based on timesheet data.
- Seeing the bigger picture of a project and being able to provide clients with expert opinions based on project risk / reward + impact to timings & budget.
- Knowing the appropriate method to share information across projects.
Strategic Thinking
- Understanding the wider marketing context of a brief and in hand being able to understand what impact that has on a project.
- Having the ability to interrogate briefs, ask relevant questions and if applicable, offer advice on how to improve a campaign based on your knowledge of the brand.
- Project reporting & evaluation at the end of a project based on KPIs set at the outset.
This Here Day to Day
- Attendance at the office two days per week – Wednesdays / Thursdays.
- Attend internal company meetings.
- Attendance at company events.
Progression
This is currently a fixed term contract role, but based on the trajectory of business growth there could be an opportunity for this to be extended or to become permanent at a later stage.
Experience & Key Skills
- Proven experience working in a creative agency environment.
- Experience of leading and delivering projects in the budget region of £50k to £100k.
- Delivery of talent focused seasonal campaigns.
- Experience of working on influencer based projects.
- Experience of content & event production.
- Experience of collaborating with producers + production teams (internal and external).
- Experience of working with apparel, fashion, or sports brands.
- Working in a fast paced delivery environment.
- Proven track record of managing brand stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of project scoping, planning and project management.
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
- The ability to deal confidently with clients, project teams and individuals.
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail & strive for excellence across all activities.
- Strong prioritisation skills, knowing what to focus on now, next and later.
- An appreciation and understanding of good quality creative output.
- A strong work & professional ethic.
- The ability to be the voice of This Here and the brand you’re working with.
- An interest in culture and the world around us.
