Role Overview
We’re looking for a strategic and commercially focused Senior Account Manager to join our Client Accounts team. You’ll partner with some of the UK’s biggest retail brands, helping them maximise the value of their VoCoVo solutions. This role is about more than renewals and revenue growth; you’ll be a trusted advisor, ensuring we deliver exceptional service, uncover new opportunities for collaboration, and act as the voice of the customer within our business.
You’ll be responsible for owning and growing key accounts, accurately forecasting performance, identifying risks and opportunities, and collaborating closely with internal teams to deliver for our clients. Success in this role means building long-term partnerships, meeting and exceeding performance targets, and ensuring our customers see VoCoVo as a critical partner in their success.
This is a hybrid position with 1 day per week working from our Cheltenham office plus travel to customer meetings and ad hoc visits to our Shipton Under Wychwood office.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience managing and expanding relationships with major enterprise clients, with Tier 1 retail experience essential.
- Strong track record of building trusted relationships at senior level and driving success within complex retail environments.
- Solid commercial acumen with expertise in P&L management, forecasting, and achieving revenue targets, combined with the ability to navigate multifaceted stakeholder environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in leading full tender processes (RFI, RFP, RFQ), driving commercial negotiations, and shaping winning bid strategies.
- Confidence in budgeting, contract negotiation, and a track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
- Solution‑focused and consultative selling skills, understanding client challenges and shaping tailored solutions.
- Strong commercial acumen, able to balance client success with business profitability.
- Skills in building relationships with stakeholders at all levels, from operational teams to senior executives.
- A proactive approach to identifying risks to renewal and mitigating churn.
- A high level of organisation and detail‑orientation, with the ability to manage multiple strategic accounts and projects in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience working in a SaaS environment and familiarity with HubSpot CRM is advantageous.
What You'll Do
- Own the full lifecycle of assigned client accounts, ensuring strong relationships and delivering measurable value.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive customer success and growth opportunities.
- Accurately forecast revenue and account performance, maintaining a +90% forecast accuracy rate.
- Identify and proactively address risks to renewal, implementing strategies to protect and grow revenue.
- Drive incremental growth through solution enhancements, cross‑sells, upsells, and surfacing new opportunities for the sales project team.
- Lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and customer satisfaction initiatives (CSAT), building strategies to improve engagement and outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal teams—including sales, legal, operations, and product—to deliver seamless client experiences.
- Draft clear, concise statements of work (SoWs) and work with the legal team to finalise contracts and terms.
- Deliver engaging, on‑brand presentations to decision‑makers and senior audiences.
- Maintain up‑to‑date CRM records (HubSpot) and first‑class account administration to support visibility and decision‑making.
Salary range: £63,000 – £75,000 per year plus uncapped commission.
- 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays (increases with years of service)
- Option to buy or sell 5 days holiday each year
- Life Assurance – (4 times basic pay)
- Private Medical Insurance
- Employee Assistance Programmes (EAP)
- Cycle2Work Scheme
- Electric car green salary sacrifice scheme
- Enhanced Maternity & Paternity package
- Child Care Scheme
