Overview Location: London SE1 / hybrid remoteDepartment: Property ManagementContract Type: Permanent, Full-TimeSalary: Circa £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience) Role Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Asset Manager to oversee the performance and risk management of a diverse residential property portfolio. This role is critical to maintaining asset value, driving operational excellence, and supporting long-term investment objectives. The successful candidate will possess deep expertise in property asset management, financial analysis, and stakeholder engagement. Key Responsibilities
Evaluate and monitor the performance of appointed managing agents across a large residential portfolio. Develop and implement robust risk management frameworks, particularly for high-rise buildings. Oversee statutory property notices, including Fire Enforcement and Improvement Notices. Lead the procurement and appointment process for managing agents. Facilitate and chair meetings with key stakeholders including MPs, regulatory bodies, Resident Associations, and managing agents. Conduct reviews of properties managed by Resident Management Companies and Right to Manage Companies. Prepare and present regular performance and compliance reports to senior leadership. Provide mentorship and guidance to Property Administrators, contributing to team development and capability building.
Candidate Profile
Professional membership with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) or equivalent. Demonstrated experience in residential or commercial property management. Proven ability to work autonomously and manage complex operational challenges. Excellent communication, analytical, and numeracy skills.
