Overview

Lead all aspects of technology, security, and synchronised audits for global audit programme. The role involves leading our co-source partners to deliver the Technology assurance plan. You will collaborate with key partners, and in particular the Technology leaders, to identify the key risks, assess how we are handling these risks and identify solutions that will genuinely improve the business. This covers all areas of Tesco’s Technology environment, including IT-related processes, transformation & change, IT service providers, information security, and technology infrastructure as well as privacy.

The success of Senior Audit Manager - Technology is measured by their ability to lead large-scale, complex assurance programmes of work, deliver actionable insights and independent assurance to a consistently high standard and to be a motivator for change in the business.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of technology, security, and synchronised audits for global audit programme. Lead our co-source partners to deliver the Technology assurance plan.
• Collaborate with key partners, and in particular Technology leaders, to identify key risks, assess how we are handling these risks and identify solutions that will improve the business.
• Cover Tesco’s Technology environment, including IT-related processes, transformation and change, IT service providers, information security, technology infrastructure and privacy.
• Lead large-scale, complex assurance programmes of work; deliver actionable insights and independent assurance to a consistently high standard; act as a motivator for change in the business.

Qualifications

• Extensive internal technology audit experience, including Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) experience.
• Proven experience leading internal audits of large companies and teams, including handling sophisticated technical matters.
• Experience in co-source direct management.
• Proven innovation and change management experience.
• Understanding of governance and compliance requirements, and related processes in large and complex organisations; experience in retail preferred.
• Experience of audit and advisory in a wide variety of technology and security topics, in a lead auditor capacity. Cyber Security experience is preferred.
• Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills, with experience delivering assurance and exposure to PowerBI, Tableau and Alteryx preferred.

CISA, CISSP, CIPP/E, CISM, ISO or other relevant technology and security qualifications.
