Responsibilities

• Take on a critical role supporting the bank to achieve customer advocacy by eliciting and understanding the internal and external technology customer needs
• Collaborate with a forward-looking team to shape the future of the business
• Produce business requirements to inform future state design and support teams in understanding the requirements and their links to the overall domain strategy
• Build, manage and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and third-party suppliers across multiple franchises and functions
• Understand, challenge and develop the business, customers, strategic goals and how the teams operate to support the realisation of desired outcomes
• Capture, validate and document business and system requirements aligned with key strategic principles
• Interact with customers, stakeholders and the team to document functional and non-functional needs
• Analyse existing system documentation to summarize functionality relevant to the work at hand
• Identify team priorities based on feedback from customers, stakeholders and the team

The skills you'll need

• Proven experience as a lead business analyst, delivering complex projects using journey-led and design thinking approaches
• Coaching and mentoring junior analysts, embedding best practices and standards
• Experience applying business analysis tools and techniques
• Good communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to peers and management
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills

Qualifications

• Appropriate business analyst certification (e.g., BAX, CPRE, CBAP)
• Good understanding of Agile values, principles and methodologies with experience in an Agile environment
• Knowledge of the Commercial and Institutional (C&I) franchise and operating models is desirable
