Senior Commercial Finance Analyst – Engineering Sector

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000
Location: Milton Keynes with Hybrid flexible working

In this Milton Keynes based Senior Commercial Finance Analyst role, you will:

• Own the financial reporting cycle, including strategic planning, forecasting, and budgeting
• Lead zero-based budgeting and spend tracking
• Deliver variance analysis and clear, concise insights to senior management
• Partner with business leaders, providing commercial input and challenge
• Build and maintain advanced models, reports, and Power BI dashboards
• Analyse profitability, costs, and pricing decisions
• Support core processes, including month/year-end close, and lead improvement projects across reporting and efficiency

You'll play a genuine part in shaping commercial outcomes and business performance.

What you'll need:

• Strong commercial finance background, ideally with budgeting and forecasting experience
• CIMA, ACCA, or ACA qualified (or part-qualified with relevant expertise)
• Advanced Excel and SAP FI/CO skills; SAC (Cloud) knowledge a bonus
• Analytical and commercially minded, confident working with data and communicating with non-finance stakeholders
• Experience in the engineering/ automotive sector is great, but transferable sector skills and the right mindset are just as important
• £50,000-£60,000 salary, plus annual bonus and pay review

• 35-hour work week, flexible hybrid set-up (2-3 days each office/home)
