Senior Developer (SITS) The Senior Developer role sits within the Delivery & Operations pillar of the Digital, Data and Technology Group at the University of Bath. About the Role As a Senior Developer (SITS) within the Applications & Integration group, the postholder will work on the University’s Student Record System – a critical system for recruiting students, managing their academic journey, and awarding degrees. They will be responsible for the development, configuration, support, and maintenance of the University’s Tribal SITS software, along with related applications, services, and integrations. The Senior Developer (SITS) will join a small team working closely with data owners across the University – including Admissions, Academic Registry, and Finance – to ensure the system is configured to support the efficient operation of the institution. The University is currently migrating its core applications to cloud platforms, and experience with similar migrations (even on different systems) will be of interest. The successful candidate will demonstrate experience in supporting and configuring commercial off-the-shelf applications, as well as integrating these systems within a broader enterprise ecosystem. In addition to in-application configuration, candidates will need technical skills in HTML, JavaScript, SQL, Git, and related tools. Additional Information
The role title 'Senior Developer (SITS)' is for advertising purposes only. If successful, your role title will be Senior Developer (Student Systems). This role includes a market supplement of £4,000 in addition to the base salary scale. The total salary range displayed above reflects the base salary plus market supplement. This role is offered on a full time (36.5 hours per week) permanent basis.
