Senior Developer (SITS) – gRafiKs Department: Digital, Data & Technology Group Salary: £42,784 – £50,049 (incl. market supplement) Contract Type: Full‑Time, Open‑Ended Closing Date: Sunday, 16 November 2025 Reference: ML12715R About the Role The Senior Developer role sits within the Delivery & Operations pillar of the Digital, Data and Technology Group. As a Senior Developer (SITS) within the Applications & Integration group, the postholder will work on the university’s Student Record System – a critical system for recruiting students, managing their academic journey and awarding degrees. Responsibilities include the development, configuration, support and maintenance of the university’s Tribal SITS software, related applications, services and integrations. The role works closely with admissions, academic registry, finance and other data owners to ensure the system is configured to support efficient operation. Migration to cloud platforms is ongoing; experience with similar migrations is desirable. The successful candidate will demonstrate experience in supporting and configuring commercial off‑the‑shelf applications and integrating these systems within a broader enterprise ecosystem. Technical skills required include HTML, JavaScript, SQL, Git and related tools. Additional Information
The advertised title ‘Senior Developer (SITS)’ is for advertising purposes only. If successful, your role title will be Senior Developer (Student Systems). This role includes a market supplement of £4,000 in addition to the base salary scale. The salary range displayed above reflects base salary plus market supplement. This role is offered on a full‑time (36.5 hours per week) permanent basis.
