Please note we have 2 positions available, these positions are 1 year fixed term contracts.

Your typical day could start with a site visit to review progress on a multi-tenure development, followed by a meeting with contractors to resolve a construction issue. Later, you might be reviewing financial appraisals and risk registers, before joining a cross-departmental session to plan the handover of completed homes to residents.

As a Senior Development Manager (Delivery), you’ll be the driving force behind the successful delivery of one of Peabody’s most transformative and ambitious development projects. Working on either Plumstead West Thamesmead – which will deliver over 1900 homes forming part of our Thamesmead masterplan; or St Ann’s – a landscape led masterplan delivering almost 1000 homes.

You’ll be at the heart of our construction activity, ensuring homes are built to the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. You’ll lead multi-disciplinary teams, manage complex projects, and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver homes that make a difference.

You’re a strategic thinker and a hands-on leader. You enjoy solving problems, managing risk, and collaborating across teams. You’ll be based in the office for part of the week, with regular site visits and flexibility to work remotely when appropriate to project needs.

Your role covers all aspects of development delivery, from construction oversight and stakeholder engagement to financial management and handover coordination. If you’re passionate about housing, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and want to help shape communities, we want to hear from you.
