The Work You'll Do
As a Senior Enterprise Account Executive at Sovos, you'll play a crucial role in expanding our client relationships by identifying opportunities where clients can optimize their usage of Sovos compliance products. You'll drive contract reviews with current clients and engage in use case discussions to validate compliance needs and uncover new growth opportunities.
In this strategic role, you'll develop and manage comprehensive sales engagement strategies, leveraging your expertise in territory planning and deep understanding of our solution portfolio to navigate clients' buying journeys. You'll identify opportunities to provide thought leadership and valuable insights to clients, helping them maximize the value of their Sovos partnership.
More specifically, you will:
- Effectively review and showcase the value of Sovos' SaaS-based products and services to current accounts
- Grow and nurture a balanced pipeline across your assigned territory, achieving account contract execution and business growth targets
- Deliver profitable new agreements within your current client base while meeting and exceeding revenue targets and relevant quotas
- Accurately forecast expected business results both in-month and in-quarter
- Build a consistent year-over-year track record of performance excellence by utilizing multiple contract management approaches and managing complex agreements in large enterprises
- Work independently with Procurement teams, leveraging advanced negotiation skills including handling "non-starters"
- Show self-awareness and commitment to personal development and continuous learning
- Clearly communicate value throughout the sales cycle and set appropriate expectations for implementation and product usage
- Skillfully integrate late-stage changes without disrupting deal momentum
- Conduct executive-level discussions with senior contacts with confidence and expertise
- Successfully close a high percentage of deals that reach late sales stages
- Communicate effectively through multiple channels including phone, email, social media, and onsite meetings
- Participate in onboarding and mentor programs, cloud rotations, and other professional development opportunities
- Serve as a role model to the broader sales team by sharing best practices, messaging strategies, and expertise
What We Need From You
- 3+ years of account management/execution and quota-carrying sales experience; business-to-business sales experience preferred but not required
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding annual quota for at least two years and/or achieving PClub recognition
- Experience with or knowledge of SaaS solutions/environments (preferred)
- Proven track record of growing and retaining a book of business while exceeding quota targets
- Ability to present value-based, consultative agreements by listening to customer needs and shaping a shared vision for long-term relationships

- Experience working with procurement, legal teams, and handling renewal negotiations
- Self-motivation and team player mentality with a drive to exceed targets
