OverviewRole OverviewWe’re seeking an experienced and driven Senior Estimator to join our expanding pre-construction team. You’ll lead the estimation and tendering process for mechanical pipework, public health, and offsite fabrication projects—ensuring estimates are accurate, competitive, and aligned with company objectives. You’ll also help develop tender strategies, mentor junior estimators, and collaborate with project, commercial, and engineering teams to secure profitable work.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissionsTake off from engineering drawings using Ensign Estimating SoftwareDevelop tender strategies ensuring commercial and technical complianceConduct supplier analysis and ensure competitive pricingReview bid documents and contractual requirementsPresent tender recommendations to senior managementSupport value engineering and identify cost-saving opportunitiesGuide junior estimators and promote best practicesLiaise with clients and supply chain partnersSupport project handovers and assist with cost tracking and variationsQualifications & Experience5+ years’ estimating experience in mechanical building servicesStrong technical understanding of mechanical and public health systemsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsProficient in Microsoft Excel and WordStrong communication and presentation skillsAbility to manage multiple tenders under pressurePreferred: Experience with Ensign Estimating Software (training provided)Preferred: HNC/HND/Degree in Building Services, Mechanical Engineering, or related fieldPreferred: Experience in design & build or offsite fabricationPreferred: Leadership or mentoring experienceWhy Join Pipetech GroupEstablished contractor with a diverse project portfolioProfessional development and training opportunitiesEarly finish on FridaysCompetitive salary and benefitsHow to Apply📩 Apply now or get in touch to learn more.
