Senior Finance Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Finance Manager to join our dynamic and busy Finance Team. The role will include a hybrid working arrangement with a combination of home and office working based at White Rose Park, Leeds. This role offers a great opportunity to work closely on our service transformation agenda with clinical services, helping them to make the most of their resources to maximise clinical outcomes. Youll need to be a CCAB qualified accountant with the initiative, drive and commitment to work in a complex and changing environment and the drive to deliver quality improvements. Youll have great communication skills, experience of working with a breadth of stakeholders with competing requirements and the discipline to deliver to strict timetables.

Main duties of the job

  • Be the senior lead finance contact for Directors, General Managers and Budget holders for the Childrens Business Unit.
  • Perform monthly analysis and reconciliation of income, expenditure and budget to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the general ledger across all budgets for the Business Unit.
  • Utilise specialist knowledge and expertise to advise and guide budget holders in discharging their accountabilities.
  • Prepare and present regular finance reports for the Business Unit which feed into formal sub-committee reports of the Trust Board.
  • Provide financial advice and support to the business unit’s transformation agenda.
