Location: Stockley Park, London (Hybrid – 3 days office / 2 remote)
Type: Permanent | Full-Time
Salary: Competitive + Bonus + Benefits

About the Business

We’re working with a leading international business operating at the intersection of media, sport, and entertainment, known for managing high-profile commercial rights, content distribution, and events. With a global footprint and a dynamic culture, this is an opportunity to join a forward-thinking finance team within a highly visible and fast-moving part of the business.

The Role

As Finance Business Partner, you will support senior commercial and operational stakeholders by delivering high-quality financial reporting, business insight, and planning. You’ll act as a key point of contact between finance and the wider business, ensuring robust financial controls, timely reporting, and strategic guidance to support decision-making.

This role is ideal for a commercially minded qualified accountant who thrives in a business-facing role and enjoys working closely with multiple stakeholders across operations, content, and commercial teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with commercial and operational leads to ensure accurate month-end close in line with US GAAP.
  • Lead on the preparation of monthly P&L variance analysis, commentary, and key business insights for corporate reporting.
  • Own the budgeting and forecasting cycle across the division — quarterly reforecasts, annual budgets, and long-range planning.
  • Deliver accurate and timely weekly cash forecasts.
  • Identify and analyse risks and opportunities in business performance; flag key drivers and changes to the Head of Finance.
  • Support internal and external reporting, including client reporting packs and ad hoc analysis.
  • Act as the point of contact for audit, tax, and technical queries, liaising with Group Finance as required.
  • Lead, coach, and support a small team of part-qualified accountants and assistants, fostering a high-performance culture.

What You’ll Need

  • Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA) with 3+ years post-qualified experience.
  • Proven experience in a business partnering role, ideally in a commercial, media, or project-led environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — comfortable working across multiple departments.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to challenge and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proven line management experience with a passion for developing talent.
