Title: Senior Finance Manager

Location: London (hybrid working)

Salary: £95,000 + bonus and benefits

Employer: Venator Search partnered with a market leading US Listed Financial Services Broker. The role is to join the Group Finance team in London and support accounting, financial reporting and control challenges as the group grows through organic expansion and acquisitions.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation and review of complex accounting papers under IFRS and US GAAP, including business combinations, impairments, leases, and financial instruments.
• Provide guidance on valuations, accounting policies, and Group reporting, ensuring consistency across IFRS, US GAAP, and FRS 102.
• Support subsidiaries with accounting queries, chart of accounts maintenance, and application of Group policies.
• Strengthen reporting and controls to SOX standards, while streamlining disclosures, CAPEX analysis, and acquisition processes.
• Manage audits efficiently, liaising with external auditors and driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, CA) with at least 6-9 years of post-qualification experience
• Previously completed a Big Four training contract
• Strong knowledge of Consolidated financial statement reporting
• Significant exposure to US SOX and US GAAP
