The programme delivers a modern, scalable enterprise architecture including a new Electronic Patient Record and a data warehouse, with focus on integration and interoperability across platforms.

As a Senior Integration Developer, you will be an integral member of the Integration Team, specialising in the development of strategic IT solutions with emphasis on interoperability and system integration. You will collaborate with the RM Digital Services Team, the connect team, EPIC and GOSH, contributing to complex projects that require a blend of technical proficiency and comprehensive solution design. You will provide ongoing support for live systems, maintaining service levels and ensuring high standards of customer satisfaction. You will act as the technical integration lead on major initiatives and serve as a Subject Matter Expert in critical application domains. You will mentor junior developers and lead technical workshops that promote knowledge sharing and innovation.

The postholder will work closely with wider members of the RM Digital Services Team, especially on complex projects requiring a mix of technical skills across the overall solution design and build, and will provide BAU support to in-use solutions, ensuring service levels and high levels of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical integration initiatives and act as a SME in key application areas within the strategic replacement programme.
• Develop new IT solutions focused on integration and interoperability as part of the enterprise architecture update (2019-24).
• Collaborate with RM Digital Services Team, connect team, EPIC and GOSH on complex projects requiring integrated solution design and build.
• Provide ongoing BAU support for in-use solutions, maintaining SLAs and high customer satisfaction.
• Mentor less experienced members of the Integration Team and lead technical workshops on a wide range of topics.
• Contribute to team development and knowledge sharing to drive innovation.
