Overview

The NHS Counter Fraud Authority (NHSCFA) is the national body responsible for all matters relating to the prevention, detection and investigation of economic crime across the NHS. Further information about our work and annual plan for delivering this is available on our website.

Role

The post holder will principally control, co-ordinate and implement criminal intelligence allocated research projects at strategic, tactical, and operational levels, making recommendations to support the prioritisation and development of a diverse range of operational and crime reduction activities.

The post holder will be expected to contribute to NHSCFA’s strategic overview of crime impacting upon the health group by using their initiative to highlight through analysis and interpretation significant conclusions and key judgements.

Selection will be between 29/09/25 and 03/10/25 (subject to change) and will be conducted by face-to-face interviews at Canary Wharf, London. The interview will be preceded by an assessment. Selection dates may be subject to change.

NPPV2 vetting is required.

Location and terms

This role is based in London and offers flexible, hybrid, office and home-based working. In addition to the advertised salary, working in the London area may attract a High-Cost Area Supplement where appropriate.
