Role Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications. The role involves working closely with architects, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement robust Java-based applications for enterprise use.
  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Lead code reviews, enforce best practices, and provide technical guidance to junior developers.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Integrate applications with databases, APIs, and third-party systems.
  • Ensure code quality, maintainability, and compliance with security standards.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex production issues.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in development processes and tools.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5-8+ years of experience in Java/J2EE application development.
  • Strong knowledge of Core Java, Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security), Hibernate/JPA.
  • Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, Microservices architecture, and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
  • Proficiency in RDBMS (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and SQL.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in banking, payments, or financial services domain.
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies (Angular, React, JavaScript) for full-stack exposure.
  • Understanding of security protocols, authentication (OAuth2, JWT), and compliance requirements.
