Senior Lawyer (Property) role at Wirral Council. The position leads the provision of professional legal advice on all aspects of Property / Regeneration. This is a full-time, senior legal role within the council.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the provision of legal advice on property-related matters and regeneration projects.
  • Manage your own caseload, including drafting, contractual matters, litigation or proceedings arising from your specialist area.
  • Provide robust legal advice to internal and external stakeholders on property matters such as purchases, sales, landlord and tenant issues, and regeneration.

Qualifications

As a qualified and practising barrister, solicitor or Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives, you will have extensive experience in dealing with a wide range of commercial property matters and be able to handle matters independently.

Proactive and self-motivated with excellent technical skills, strong communication (written and verbal) and the ability to deliver complex advice clearly. Comfortable working with internal and external stakeholders, with capacity to manage competing priorities and work under pressure. Commitment to professional development and willingness to undertake training as required.
