We are looking for a part-time Senior Learning and Development Consultant to join our Kent team.
Role Overview
To ensure the provision of high-quality training and development across the practice for colleagues and partners, with responsibilities including:
- Managing the LMS system and pathways.
- Developing talent programmes from newly qualified to partner level.
- Supporting continuing professional and technical development.
- Facilitating soft skills development.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Head of L&D and the wider People Team to deliver comprehensive L&D services across the firm.
- Coordinate with HR and People Managers on all L&D-related projects and initiatives.
- Support training delivery and administration for various business areas.
- Assist with the design and delivery of training programs.
- Build and maintain relationships with external contacts, including trainers and system providers.
- Represent the firm positively to new non-student starters.
- Support the implementation and management of the LMS system.
- Lead or support ad hoc projects and initiatives related to learning and development.
- Understand and deputise for the Senior L&D Consultant for Students.
Qualifications and Skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to build positive relationships.
- Strong IT skills.
- Confidence or willingness to develop skills in designing and delivering training courses.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a flexible approach to viewing issues from multiple perspectives.
