Senior Learning, Development and Change Consultant – Full time, Permanent, Hybrid working. PO6: £56,436 per annum rising to £59,574 per annum including London Weighting.

About the Role
This is an exciting time to join and lead a high performing function within the Human Resources and Organisational Development Division. You will lead and support people through transformational change, improving employee experience and ensuring that OD and Learning interventions are of high quality, impactful, and ambitious. The Senior Learning, Development and Change Consultant will manage the development, skills and training of the Lambeth council workforce, supporting the council to achieve its strategic objectives and deliver on corporate plan priorities. You will regularly consult with and influence Managers, Heads of Service and Directors to understand business needs and desired outcomes. You will lead the design, delivery and evaluation of a range of development and change interventions, influence leaders and employees to achieve organisational objectives, and work within the best value duty to improve services to customers and citizens. You may act as deputy for the Learning, Development and Change Manager when required and take a project management leadership role across the OD and Learning function.
Responsibilities
Lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of a range of development and change interventions.
Influence and enable leaders and employees to achieve organisational objectives.
Act as deputy for the Learning, Development and Change Manager when required.
Take a project management leadership role across the OD and Learning function.
Qualifications and Requirements
Knowledge and understanding of L&D principles and best practice, including diversity.
Demonstrable knowledge of implementing new learning technologies.
Knowledge of learning technologies and how these are applied to OD strategies.
Experience designing and delivering strategic and operational learning and development interventions in a customer-focused organisation.
Experience of project managing multiple projects and delivering on time.
Demonstrable experience using data and analytics to deliver OD and learning interventions.
Experience working in partnership with business and Senior Managers, aligning OD and learning interventions to business needs and providing clear, balanced advice on complex issues.
