About the Role This is an exciting time to join and lead a high performing function within the Human Resources and Organisational Development Division. You will lead and support the people to navigate transformational change, improve employee experience, and ensure OD and Learning interventions are of high quality, impactful, and ambitious. The Senior Learning, Development and Change Consultant will manage the development, skills, and training of the Lambeth council workforce to help achieve strategic objectives and deliver on corporate plan priorities. The post holder will promote the council’s vision, values, aims, objectives, and priorities, placing citizens first through the delivery of best value services. They will regularly consult with and influence stakeholders at all levels to understand business needs and desired outcomes. You will lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of development and change interventions, influence leaders and employees to achieve objectives, and work within the best value duty to improve services. The post holder will act as deputy for the Learning, Development and Change Manager when required and take a project management leadership role across the OD and Learning function. Responsibilities

Qualifications and Experience
Knowledge and understanding of L&D principles and best practice, including all aspects of diversity. Demonstrable knowledge of implementing new learning technologies. Knowledge of learning technologies and how these are applied to and integrated within Learning and OD strategies. Experience designing and delivering strategic and operational learning and development interventions in a customer-focused organisation. Experience of project managing multiple projects and delivering on time. Demonstrable experience of using data and analytics to deliver OD and learning interventions. Experience working in partnership with business and Senior Managers, aligning OD and learning interventions to business needs and providing clear, balanced advice and guidance on complex issues.
