We offer opportunities to gain experience, specialise, and develop your skills in a growing organisation.Isio is a people business with a hybrid working approach and offices across the UK.What’s the role?We’re looking for qualified pensions actuaries or those with significant UK DB pensions experience who are currently a Scheme Actuary or aiming to become one in the near future to join our team.As a challenger in the industry, you will bring excellent pensions consulting and technical skills, a commercial outlook and an entrepreneurial mindset.ResponsibilitiesDriving key initiatives in the delivery of UK DB pensions advice to clients, including managing client projects and supporting partners and directors to deliver to clients.Building and maintaining relationships with clients, working as part of a team, and developing colleagues.Assisting in the development of new business with existing and new clients.As a Manager, leading and delegating responsibilities to junior colleagues on projects such as actuarial valuations and calculations for Trustees, and advising on scheme operation.Developing pension strategies for corporate, public and not-for-profit organisations.Writing and delivering communications projects for members.Providing insurance transaction and scheme consolidation advice.Managing data projects such as benefit rectifications, pensions dashboards and GMP equalisation.Qualifications and experienceA great communicator who can simplify complex problems for stakeholders.Enthusiasm and motivation to solve problems and deliver excellent advice.Excellent project management and client delivery skills, with ability to balance multiple demands.Strong team player with experience in performance management or willingness to develop others.Commercial skills and a curious mindset to develop the business and identify new opportunities.Technical experience in the UK DB pensions industry or highly relevant transferable skills.Qualified pensions actuary (FIA/FFA), Scheme Actuary or equivalent.Core valuesPower in Partnership: Building open and trusted client and colleague relationships.Future Focus: Solving problems in ways that benefit clients and society.Strength in Difference: Valuing diverse perspectives to find better solutions.People First: Pensions is a people business; people’s lives are affected by our advice.Location and working patternRole is advertised in Scotland with a range of locations available (Isio offices in Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Croydon, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, London, Manchester, Reading).
