Are you an experienced technology change leader with a background in insurance? Are you passionate about delivering digital transformation that drives real business value?

I am seeking a Digital Change Lead to join our dynamic Digital Trading team. This is a pivotal role responsible for driving forward the digital strategy, managing high-impact technology projects, and leading a team of change professionals within a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Delivery: Work with Digital Trading and Technology teams to shape and execute our digital strategy through innovative tech solutions and seamless project delivery.
  • Vendor Management: Own the day-to-day relationship and manage other digital vendors. Ensure high performance, contract alignment, and effective collaboration.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and grow the Digital Change Team. Set clear goals, allocate resources, and oversee recruitment, performance management, mentoring and coaching.
  • Project Management: Oversee complex digital initiatives with clearly defined scopes, timelines, and outcomes. Produce high-quality artefacts including PIDs, plans, risk logs and reports.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive improvements in change delivery processes, fostering best practices both internally and with third-party vendors.
  • Budget Oversight: Manage digital project budgets in collaboration with Finance and Change teams, ensuring cost efficiency and optimal resource allocation.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the IT Application Owner for the Digital Platform and escalation point for key users and stakeholders.
  • Strategic Input: Support the Change Manager with strategic planning and evolution of our project management methodologies and frameworks.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years’ experience delivering IT projects/programmes, ideally with Change/PMO team leadership.
  • Proven track record in the insurance sector. Experience in Lloyd’s of London syndicates is highly desirable.
  • Skilled in agile methodologies and managing BA/PM resources across multiple workstreams.
  • Confident managing vendor relationships, contracts, and performance metrics.
  • Strong organisational, planning, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with insurance technology platforms, especially those used in the Lloyd’s market, is a plus.
