Principal Product Manager - Climate, Physical and Nature Risk Models

Hybrid: 3 days / week in Cambridge, UK

Above and Beyond Recruitment is proud to be partnering with Risilience to hire a Principal Product Manager to drive their mission of enabling businesses to effectively navigate the profound changes brought about by climate and wider environmental changes.

They have developed a unique modelling and analytics platform to help international corporations assess their risks and opportunities presented by rising temperatures, climate-related policy, and emerging technologies.

Their SaaS solutions help companies produce climate-related compliance analytics, navigate their pathway to Net Zero, and perform scientifically based cost benefit comparisons of emission reduction strategies. They also offer enterprise-level risk analytics for a wide variety of non-climate-change threats and trends.

Risilience has a blue-chip client base with a growing list of globally recognised brands. The pedigree of their solutions is supported by their deep academic roots that go back to the Business School in the University of Cambridge (UK) and the close ties they maintain to the Cambridge Centre for Risk Studies.

The business received Series B funding in early 2023 and is growing rapidly towards the next round of investment.

The key responsibilities are to oversee current and future physical climate and nature risk models to support the development agenda and commercial success of these solutions.

You will be the central point of contact for understanding market needs, defining the product roadmap, and ensuring their offerings deliver exceptional value to their clients. Your deep expertise in geospatial risk modelling, coupled with strong client engagement and product management skills, will be crucial in driving the adoption and evolution of these critical solutions.

In this role, you will:
