Responsibilities

  • 1. Audience & Market Expertise - Develop a 360° understanding of IT leadership priorities (scale, agility, visibility, automation, governance, security, compliance) and how Smartsheet addresses them. Map buyer committees and define message frameworks that resonate from C‑suite (CIO/CTO/CISO) to functional buyers (IT portfolio leaders, GRC, and tool admins). Benchmark Smartsheet's IT capabilities against key competitors and adjacent platforms.
  • 2. Technical Storytelling & Content Leadership - Translate platform capabilities into compelling solution narratives and hands‑on technical demonstrations (e.g., interactive demos, whiteboard explainers, value calculators, and eBooks). Show how Smartsheet supports IT value levers – scale, agility, governance, automation, integration, and visibility – through measurable outcomes. Create content that speaks to both strategic value (e.g., risk reduction, IT efficiency, portfolio agility) and technical credibility (security, scalability, architecture).
  • 3. Solution Positioning & GTM - Partner with Product, Sales, and Solution Engineering to define use‑case‑specific GTM plays targeting IT leadership and GRC stakeholders. Own the positioning and messaging for IT‑related solutions, ensuring consistency across campaigns, enablement materials, and field content. Collaborate with Professional Services to develop service packages and implementation blueprints that reinforce Smartsheet's credibility in enterprise IT transformation.
  • 4. Sales & Partner Enablement – Enable sales, customer success, and partner teams on how to articulate Smartsheet's IT value story, using competitive comparisons and quantifiable proof points. Equip field teams with talk tracks, value quantification, and objection‑handling frameworks that resonate with technical evaluators and executive sponsors.
  • 5. Insights & Measurements – Leverage market data, customer telemetry, and usage analytics to inform product and GTM strategy. Continuously test and refine messaging to improve conversion rates, buyer engagement, and win rates in the IT segment. Partner with analysts, industry bodies, and customer advocates to strengthen Smartsheet's visibility and thought leadership in IT portfolio management and governance automation.
  • 6. Perform other duties as assigned.
