Job Description
This is a remote role.
We are seeking a strategic and execution-oriented Senior Program Manager (SPM) to lead high-impact product launches across global markets. This role sits at the intersection of Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Legal, and Operations, with the goal of delivering seamless go-to-market execution for new technology solutions.
The ideal candidate combines global awareness, operational rigor, and stakeholder leadership to bring complex initiatives to life. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful end-to-end rollout of our products, from ideation through various stages to customer adoption. The SPM role at HSP Group will represent a more senior level opportunity for a strong project manager with experience on an entrepreneurial team responsible for executing successful, customer-facing SaaS and software-enabled services technology development programs.
Success in this position will encompass two elements:
- The ability to actively lead and manage the operational rollout of the technology so that improvements to the Target Operating Model, which aims to enhance gross margins and scalability while improving the value proposition, are achieved – demanding a strategic thinker with a proven history in project management and operational excellence.
- The ability as well to lead and manage the commercial rollout of the technology, requiring a strong background of accomplishment with technology solutions that are embraced by customers within key functional areas such as Payroll, HR, Accounting, or Entity Management.
Responsibilities:
- Own and Lead End-to-End Program: Take full ownership of the program lifecycle, ensuring all features, requirements, usability, testing, compliance, timelines and budget are met. Proactively report any inconsistencies or risks to stakeholders.
- Plan Global Product Launches: Own the cross-functional planning and execution of strategic product launches.
- Drive Go-to-Market Readiness: Partner with Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Operations, and Technology to build comprehensive GTM plans and execute readiness activities.
- Orchestrate Stakeholders: Align workstreams across Product, Legal, Engineering, Marketing, and Operations teams to manage dependencies, timelines, and delivery.
- Executive-Level Reporting: Provide clear, concise updates to the steering committee, senior leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders through regular status reporting and executive briefings.
- Identify Risks and Remove Roadblocks: Proactively surface and address cross-functional blockers. Maintain high accountability for launch quality and timeliness.
- Scale Launch Processes: Build repeatable frameworks, templates, and best practices to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of future customer and partner onboarding.
- Track Success Metrics: Define launch KPIs (e.g., adoption, activation, sales enablement readiness) and measure post-launch impact to inform future planning.
- Maintain Program Roadmap: Develop and manage a centralized roadmap for product launches and related programs, Thus, ensuring visibility, prioritization, and alignment across key stakeholders.
- Develop Change Management Deliverables: Contribute to the development of key business change management deliverables—including customer and partner training and onboarding, operational readiness, process documentation, and user acceptance testing.
- End-to-End Product Rollout: Own the entire lifecycle of product rollouts, from initial ideation, planning, development, testing, and deployment to customer adoption and feedback integration.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, sales, legal, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of expansion strategies.
- Gap Analysis: Perform comprehensive gap analysis to identify areas for improvement and ensure alignment with business objectives and market needs.
- Change Management: Develop and implement change management strategies to facilitate smooth transitions and adoption of new processes and technologies. This includes moving the organization to a new Target Operating Model.
- Enterprise Transformation: Drive enterprise transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.
- Hands-On Involvement: Create test strategies, develop training materials, and deliver training to cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and adoption of new technologies and processes.
- Communication: Exhibit strong communication skills to effectively convey complex ideas and strategies to diverse audiences, including technical teams and executive leadership.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in project and program management, with a focus on business transformation.
- Industry Experience: Proven experience in rolling out customer-facing SaaS and software-enabled services technology solutions in one or more of the following functional areas: Payroll, HR, Accounting, or Entity Management.
- Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale projects using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Leadership: Strong leadership potential with a track record as a key contributor on well led cross-functional teams achieving strategic goals.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills to perform gap analysis and develop actionable insights.
- Change Management: Expertise in change management practices to drive successful adoption of new technologies and processes.
- Communication: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present to C-suite executives and other key stakeholders.
- AI Tools: Familiarity and/or experience with AI tools to enhance user experience and efficiency is a plus.
- Travel: Ability and openness to travel internationally if needed, including Barcelona and the United Kingdom.
- Dependable, proactive, consistent performer with a positive attitude and an ability to listen and work collaboratively across the team and organization.
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior personnel, both internal and external.
- Solution oriented.
- Assertive but tactful and can manage multiple business relationships.
- Self- motivated, detail orientated and excels in executing, establishing priorities, and meeting swift deadlines in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to act as a coordinator between multiple projects at a business or organization to be sure they're benefiting each other and aligning with overall business goals.
- Ability to meet with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions on services.
- Producing accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle.
- Proactive analysis of program risks.
- Contributes and works well with the Team.
