Join us as a Portfolio Manager at any of our main UK sites, where you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in partnership with some of the most brilliant minds.The Role As a Portfolio Manager, you will own and manage the budget of one of our largest and most complex contracts with the MOD, the Long Term Partnership Agreement (LTPA) in our Maritime domain. You will be responsible for driving efficiencies, identifying cost-savings and communicate with internal stakeholders to ensure they embrace future change and champion the future journey of the LTPA Maritime Portfolio.Day-to-day, you’ll own the budget setting across various multiple maritime business units, operations, engineering and estates. You’ll work with business leaders within QinetiQ to proactively manage risks, issues and opportunities across the portfolio as well as develop and manage key customer relationships.ResponsibilitiesOwning the LTPA Maritime FCAC and risk budget, delivering financial forecasting and budgeting in line with the corporate timetableIdentifying and driving cost savings and efficiencies across the LTPA Maritime sites to meet financial targets, working with business leaders to veer and haulEnsuring delivery against LTPA KPIs, and providing reporting to support LTPA Management Information and monthly, quarterly and annual reports to the LTPA customerDelivering to cost budget profilesManaging the interdependencies between programme areas, functions and sitesEssential experienceExperience in a business leadership roleSignificant experience of inspiring and developing cross functional teamsSignificant experience in building customer relationships at a senior levelPrevious experience delivering changeEssential qualificationsAPM Qualified or an equivalent professional accreditationLocation, hours and travelThis role is 37 hours per week based at one of our main UK locations. Hybrid working patterns are available.
