The Senior Project Manager will consistently meet or exceed client and company expectations by

providing exceptional service, quality, timeliness and cost efficiency on every project and client

services. Working with multiple internal and external stakeholders, this person directly manages

client relationships, line manages a small Project Management team and is responsible for

developing and maintaining those relationships by providing superior service as well as industry

and technical expertise.

The Senior Project Manager will manage all assigned projects in the most efficient manner possible

to ensure client retention, satisfaction and in maximizing share of wallet. Through effective written

and verbal communication will ensure that project teams are clear to the scope. Will be able to

keep up with the complexity and expectations of clients for all projects and make sure that the

clients are kept fully informed as to the progress, position, and financial status of their projects. Will

support and mentor the internal team and extended project team ensuring actions are delegated

and that resource/quality issues are escalated in a timely fashion to the departmental managers

and Team Lead.

Education & Experience

This role requires 3 years of experience managing translation/localisation projects for the market research division.

Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in languages, otherwise experience in the Localization industry.

Success Criteria

As a Senior Project Manager, you will fundamentally be appraised on your and your team’s capacity

to manage the assigned client portfolio in a timely and cost-efficient manner. You will be expected

to achieve agreed KPIs and Objectives and maintain focus in stressful situations. The ideal

candidate is adaptable to change, curious to new ideas and easily navigates complex projects. You

have strong quality management, problem solving abilities, people and project management skills.

You must also have in depth understanding of localisation engineering tools and IT literacy.

Role Responsibilities

·People and performance management of a small team of Project Managers and/or Junior Project Managers.

·Supervise, train or guide team members by having regular 121s and providing effective feedback. be the escalation point for the team. Actively support team members in project management and delivery.

·Assign roles and tasks to dedicated team members, based on individual strengths and abilities.

·Manage a portfolio of clients for various Project Categories and Service Lines.

·Manage projects end-to-end, i.e., act as the main point of communication between internal

·team and clients, dealing with all requests, queries, and issues, and ensure swift resolution of any issues.

·Lead and manage complex scope projects where analysis requires a review of a variety of

factors and the coordination of various stakeholders at all levels.

·Establish and maintain relationships with appropriate client stakeholders, providing day-today contact on project status and changes.

·Manage quality control and development of resources. Work with Resourcing & Quality

·Assurance on recruitment and on-boarding of resources.

·Ensure on time delivery to clients and excellent customer experience and satisfaction.

·Lead QBR reviews for assigned portfolio of clients. Attend client meetings and trade shows and/or relevant industry events.

·Actively seek regular feedback from portfolio of clients.

·Consider and implement ways of improving service for portfolio of clients.

·Closely monitor and control project financials. Meet cost control targets and seek ways to improve them in line with company objectives & KPIs.

·Systematically and logically identify and weigh options to resolve problems, generating solutions after reviewing all relevant information, including risks and the impact of potential solutions.

·Responsible for ensuring client retention rates for the assigned client portfolio and the success of newly onboarded clients.

·Active role in strategic account management and Account Plan preparation and implementation in close collaboration with Sales / Account Management and other Functions involved.

·Analyse and report on key account, project, team or other performance metrics following established procedures or as requested by stakeholders.

·Act as a Global Lingo ambassador, driving and demonstrating company values, behaviours,

and competencies.
