Senior Property & Casualty Underwriter – Chelmsford / Surrounding Areas - Hybrid. Competitive Salary + Bonus & Benefits. IPS Group are working with a global brand with a well-established presence across the UK, growing their Property and Casualty proposition in the midmarket segment. They are seeking 2 experienced property & casualty underwriters to join their underwriting division in Chelmsford / the surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Deal with property and casualty policies across the midmarket sector. The business has a diverse appetite and can write risks as either a combined package or as singular policies, with premiums ranging from 25k to 250k and some more complex cases.
• Be part of a team with a mix of experience, providing opportunities to learn from peers and to support colleagues on referrals.
• If you are a technical underwriter who also relishes broker relationship management, this role will particularly appeal to you.

Required Skills / Experience

• Experience in a similar role handling both New and Existing Business, either with an insurer or within an MGA holding Delegated Underwriting Authority (DUA).
• Experience in Commercial Combined or a single commercial policy line will be considered.
