Senior Sales Executive – Third Space Learning

Your role is to drive revenue selling to English primary, secondary, and multi-academy trusts. To enable this, you will receive a regular flow of inbound leads through our go-to-market channels but we also expect you to prospect daily to engage the wider schools market and ensure we continue to expand our support to as many students as possible.

Tutoring is one of the most effective ways to improve a student’s attainment and confidence but for too long, tutoring has been the preserve of a fortunate minority due to access and cost. AI tutoring transforms access and cost - allowing infinitely scalable high-quality education for all. Third Space Learning works in partnership with schools to provide curriculum‑aligned programs of one‑to‑one spoken AI maths tutoring to the students who need it most, significantly reducing the cost of providing tutoring by up to 95% while increasing access to all students who require support. We are one of the first movers in the AI tutoring market and are building the most evidenced AI tutoring solution that will change students’ lives.

Core Responsibilities

  • Taking full ownership of your pipeline, managing the end‑to‑end sales cycle
  • Exceeding activity, prospecting, conversion, and revenue goals
  • Developing the sales pipeline to acquire new customers
  • Improving key metrics: pitch to rate, conversion rate, average sale value, average contract length
  • Maintaining a tight feedback loop with the wider team, actively suggesting product improvements to strengthen our market position
  • Ensuring meticulous usage of key tools: TSL platform, Salesforce (CRM), Reply (sales automation), Aircall, Google Sheets, Gmail, Zoom
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders within your territory
  • Becoming an authority on Third Space Learning
  • Gaining in‑depth knowledge of the sector and competition
  • Professionally representing Third Space Learning to its customer base
  • Attending national events to drive lead generation and boost brand visibility
  • As we grow, delivering training and helping onboard new team members

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years experience selling to English state schools
  • Track record of exceeding quotas of £400k+ per year
  • Experience generating pipeline (e.g., SDR or pipeline‑generating AE)
  • Excellent communicator
  • Ability to build rapport over the phone and in person
  • Tenacious attitude with drive to succeed
  • Energy and creativity: positivity and enthusiasm core to our sales team
  • Excellent time‑management and organisation
  • Adaptable and motivated by the pace of a rapidly evolving scale‑up environment
  • Clear passion for our mission and eagerness to make your mark
  • Drive to find new solutions and keen to explore prospecting in new ways
  • London based (expect 2+ days in office per week)
